Qualification
- Students who hold a Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) degree from Tribhuvan University or any university accredited by Tribhuvan University.
- Students who have obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Tribhuvan University or a university recognized by Tribhuvan University, regardless of their academic background or field of study at the best MBS college in Kathmandu.
Entrance Exam
The Faculty of Management Examination Controller Division (FOMECD) conducts the CMAT exam for MBS which carry a total of 100 marks, 40 pass marks and have a duration of 90 minutes.
A total of 100 questions are included in the exam. Various subjects are covered, with each contributing 20 marks: Verbal Ability, Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge, Business, and Economics.

MBS Scholarships
Among all enrolled students across departments or colleges, 15% are eligible for tuition waivers. However, scholarships are exclusively available to those who have completed their SLC from community schools and obtained their bachelor’s degrees from either Tribhuvan University constituent or community colleges.
The scholarship quota is distributed based on inclusive criteria, with allocations made in the first semester according to entrance exam performance. Subsequently, three additional scholarships are awarded based on previous semester scores.
For semester batches comprising more than ten students, both male and female students receive a stipend of Rs. 9000. Conversely, if the batch size is fewer than ten students, only one student, selected based on merit, is granted the stipend.
Each student is eligible for a single scholarship only. Students failing any exams are ineligible for scholarship consideration. Recipients of tuition waivers receive refunds based on their admission receipt. Additionally, one student from the children of land donors or donors receives free tuition (limited to tuition fees only).
