KMC Celebrates its 21st Convocation Ceremony
Kathmandu Model College (KMC), hosted its 21st Convocation Ceremony on Mangsir 28, 2081, at Park Village Resort, Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu. Over 150 graduates from bachelor’s and master’s programs celebrated their achievements alongside distinguished guests and faculty.
The event was chaired by Mr. Rameshwar Aryal, Chairman of KMC and KMC Educational Network, with Honorable Dr. Anjan Shakya, Member of the National Assembly and former Ambassador to Israel, as the chief guest. The keynote address was delivered by Professor Dr. Burggret Phillips, Country Director of Star Scholars Network Austria and Professor at Johnium University of Applied Sciences.
The ceremony recognized the graduates as brand ambassadors of KMC. Principal Mr. Surendra Subedi congratulated them, administered the graduation oath, and highlighted their role in nation-building. Dr. Anjan Shakya encouraged graduates to contribute their skills to Nepal’s progress, and Professor Phillips emphasized merging education with cultural identity to build a brighter future.

Research Awards
- Best Undergraduate Research: Pooja Gaudel (BBS), Sushita Nyeupane (BBA)
- Best Postgraduate Research: Gokarna Ojha (MA), Prashiddha Basnet (MBS)
These students were awarded certificates and cash prizes of Rs. 20,000 (Undergraduate) and Rs. 25,000 (Postgraduate).
