BA (Psychology & Social Work) Residential Orientation Program 2081

The BA Residential Orientation Program 2081, held on 25-26 Mangsir at Pataleban Vineyard Resort, was a transformative experience for students.

The program began with inspiring remarks by Executive Director Mr. Ajay Dhakal and College Chief Mr. Surendra Subedi, encouraging growth in psychology and social work. Esteemed guest Dr. Alean Al-Krenawi, Dean and Professor at Algoma University, Canada, delivered a powerful session on “Healing Communities: The Intersection of Advocacy and Care.”

On the second day, Dr. Suraj Shakya, Clinical Psychologist and Assistant Professor at Tribhuvan University, engaged students with his session, “The Double-edged Sword of Psychology: Empowerment and Control.”

Interactive activities, including mind-body exercises, communication games, and reflective discussions, fostered personal growth and community spirit. The program concluded with a photo session and heartfelt reflections, marking the beginning of an enriching academic journey.
