World Social Work Day Celebration 2025!

On March 18 , Kathmandu Model College (KMC) proudly hosted an inspiring celebration under the theme “Strengthening Intergenerational Solidarity for Enduring Wellbeing.”

We were honored to have Dr. Meena Poudel, Social Researcher and Former Programme Manager at IOM – UN Migration, and Mr. Saroj Baniya, Founder and President of Nepal Youth Council, as our esteemed guests. Their insights and experiences empowered students and participants to drive positive transformation in society.

A huge shoutout to BA (PSY/SW) 2nd Year Students, Student’s Quality Circle (SQC), KMC Entrepreneurship Club, and KMC Social Service Club for organizing this impactful event!

The celebration of World Social Work Day 2025 will continue at KMC in upcoming weeks, with a workshop on Social Entrepreneurship happening next at the college on 23 March 2023.
