Message from PRPCMC coordinator
The Public Relations Department is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating information and communication initiatives that convey KMC to its stakeholders. It also encourages a smooth flow of information inside the organization. As the unit coordinator, I’ll keep track of and analyze stakeholders’ attitudes, as well as preserve KMC’s and its stakeholders’ mutual respect and understanding.

Objective
- Cultivate one-door communication system maximizing the efficiency of the information collection, publication and dissemination.
- Create, maintain, and shield the college’s reputation by enhancing pride, prestige and branding of the College.
Formation
The coordinator of the PRPCMC shall be Members of BoD or Program Director with sound knowledge in writing and speaking skills.

Formation
The coordinator of the PRPCMC shall be Members of BoD or Program Director with sound knowledge in writing and speaking skills. The member of the committee shall be Spoke Person of the College, Faculty Members, Staff, Members of BoD, and Students. The member shall be inclusive of gender, ethnicity and wider-college community. The committee will be formed with the following members.

Meeting
The meeting of Public Relation, Promotion & Communication Management Committee will be at-least once in every month. The additional meetings can be hold if required in the consultation with the college chief. The venue for the meeting will be Public Relation, Promotion & Communication Management Committee office room or meeting hall of the college. The meeting shall gain the legitimacy with presence of more than 50% of the members.
Duration
The duration of the committee shall be for two years. The Board of Directors can approve the extension of same committee for next one cycle.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish mutually beneficial relationship with the college, universities, and other industries to promote research and teaching.
- Formalize the MoUs to institutionalize the relationship with the colleges/universities and organizations.
- Contact parents and college community objectively to maintain healthy relationship.
- Conduct at-least one parents meeting for each class in coordination with the Class Teacher and Program Directors.
- Improve internal relations; faculty, students, other administrative staff.
- Develop promotion strategy to increase the number of the qualified student for admission.
- Create the enrolment campaign in close coordination with Program Directors and College Chief based on the Enrollment Policy.
- Ensure that college follows the official branding strategy.
- Design all publication documents to the college standard.
- Ensure the use of official logo and name in any in-house or external publication.
- Design layout, content, and information publication in favor of the College.
- Finalize the right advertising the agency for enrollment notice, Tender Notice, college achievement, job vacancy etc.
- Seek decision for the Board of Directors to designate the Public Information Officer.
- Use official Social Medias (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn), Website, Email for information dissemination.
- Control the access of the Social Medias (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn), Website, and Email.
- Collect information and progress from the Program Directors, College Chief, Units, Committees revise the prospects in annually and published it.
- Manage the editing, design, printing and distribution system of brochures, leaflets, bulletins, posters, catalogs, magazines, souvenirs, journals, textbooks, resource materials etc. to be published by the College.
- Publish research journal, annual college magazine, report and necessary documents.
- Compile the information published by the college
- Analyze and publish the information using the right media based on the category of the information to be published.
- Ensure the principle of Do No Harm in the publication of the college.
- Maintain positive relations with the colleg’s Alumni
- Assess the extent to which the publications of the college and the information disseminated have contributed to the improvement of the quality of the college in coordination with IQAC.
- Seek the feedback on published documents through periodic discussions / interactions with the stakeholders regarding the usefulness of the information transmitted from the college.
- Maintain the meeting minutes in separate minutes book.
- Provide the narrative and financial report in the prescribed format (Annex 20) with-in 15 days of new academic year.
